Specialties:
Temari specializes in tessen jutsu techniques that she uses with her Tessen, a large iron war fan.
Her jutsus are:
Ninpou Kakaitach--Sickling Winds: a Jutsu which creates a large whirlwind infested with Chakra that will hurt an enemy. The winds blow hard enough to damage trees and knock or lift a shinobi off their feet, and makes a loud whistling sound. The attack range of this jutsu can be either narrow or very wide. This is the attack that took down Tenten in the Exams and the first jutsu she used against Shikamaru in the match.
Daikamaitachi no Jutsu--Great Cutting Whirlwind Technique: A more powerful form of Ninpou Kakaitach
Ninpou Fuusajin—Dust Wind: Using her iron fan, this jutsu will create a strong wind current which will immerse the surrounding area in dust, which in fact, serves to completely loosen the footing for any nearby opponent as well as serve as a screen.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Summoning Technique (Kamatari: Sickle Weasel)
Kirikiri Mai Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance; in which Temari summons Kamatari, a Kamaitachi or Sickle Weasel, that can level an entire forest using very powerful slices of wind.
Bunshin no Jutsu—creates an illusionary copy of the user
Kawarimi no Jutsu—Substitutes a nearby object in the user’s place, switching their positions. This is useful for getting behind an enemy.
Henge—Changes the appearance of the user.
Body Flicker Technique—Almost all Genin and above know this technique. The user simply moves at a high speed, which to a normal person, looks as if they had disappeared. This is *not* the Fourth’s technique that used kunai with special notes on them.
Temari is also able to use her fan while closed to block any thrown objects in small numbers. There are three purple circles called ‘stars’ on her fan, and with each one used the strength of any jutsu used is greatly increased. Temari can also use her
Fan to completely disappear and reappear anywhere within a short range, as she did in her fight against Tenten. She is also capable of using her fan for flight, but it is more for showing off or intimidation than for any practical means of transportation. Her fan can also be used as a very effective club, or can be used to easily block taijutsu, as shown when she easily stopped Lee’s Konoha Senpuu.
Strengths:
Temari has very powerful, wide range jutsus that can take out many enemies, and she can also handle close up attacks by closing her fan and using it as a staff. She is also a very analytical thinker and can see through the nature of a technique after seeing it used as she did with the Kagemange no Jutsu.
Weaknesses:
Sometimes Temari can be overconfident and underestimate her opponent, which can cause her to overlook some small, yet vital details in combat, just as she failed to notice the holes in the Exam.

Personality:
Temari is a rather...interesting person. She has been raised in a harsh family. She may have been spoiled, but that was just to keep her from bothering her father. She was raised and trained harshly. Not because her father gave a nuts, but because he was looking for power. She and Kankuro were just two more of his pawns. As Temari grew older she became more ruthless, she loved fighting, and she was rather good at it. She is eager, almost too eager, for a fight, to shed her opponent’s blood, to show her power.
History:
Temari was born on August 23, a year later Kankuro was, and two years later Gaara came. With his birth his mother's life was taken.
She never hated Gaara for this, but she hated her father. He was the one who had sacrificed his wife for an experiment. After her death she had become more apart
from the Kazekage family. She trained excessively, improved her skills, and she developed what some would call a bloodlust. She was eager to show her power
to her opponents.
Temari grew up as the eldest child of the Kazekage in Sunakagure, while though it has pluses, it also has its downfalls. At times she was the brunt of jokes, but she always beat those who made fun of her into submission, so no one ever really joked to her face again after her reputation had begun to precede her, which occurred by the time she was eight years old. During these early years, she was separated from Gaara for the most part for her protection, but also so that the Kazekage’s family would have as little association with him as possible.
Even during her Academy years, Temari underwent special training to become a strong kunoichi since Sand had to get more out of each of its shinobi since funding was cut by the daimyo for the village. She was given her fan by her father at age six, but was told nothing about how it worked or how to use it. Since the fan is still strong to this day, Temari assumes that he had it made especially for her since it’s of a high quality not affordable by some. She started building up her muscles to use it at an early age by doing push-ups with it strapped to her back until she was tall enough to walk with it, quite an undertaking for a child. It was due to this that by the time she was in the Academy at age eight, she was already in good shinobi level conditioning and had no trouble with the entrance exams. By age nine, she was capable of lifting the fan with two hands while it was completely open and as such began learning how to do the jutsus out of scrolls. By graduation, she had already mastered Ninpou Kakaitachi and Kuchiyose no Jutsu, which caused her classmates to be more than just a little intimidated by her. Of course, she was the top of her class.
After graduating, Temari was on a three man team under Baki-sensei, the other two being just average run-of-the-mill Genin, neither of whom were really comfortable around the kunoichi part of the team. As such, the two boys often did missions on their own while Temari did solo with permission from Baki. It was from these solo missions that Temari learned to analyze and think ahead since she didn’t have very much margin for error like three Genin would. She also became used to being in charge of what she does, which is a small reason why she’s the head of her team now.
Eventually, Kankuro and Gaara graduated, both at the same time since Gaara was, well, Gaara and graduated early. By now the other two Genin on Temari’s team had already been killed off, so the three Sand Siblings formed their own team under Baki-sensei with orders from their father, the Kazekage. The three worked very well together since they did understand each other to a certain degree, except there was always the factor of Gaara. Kankuro and Temari were always very careful about what they did or said around the psychotic boy, but most of the time he would follow orders and just took all of the assassins in stride, not causing too much of a problem except from time to time when his bloodlust took over. Gaara was the muscle, Kankuro was the glue and balance, and Temari gave the orders and made the strategies. All in all, it wasn’t really that bad.
When the Sand Siblings entered the Chunnin Exams, they were all already at the Chunnin level but had been kept from attending the Exams by both their sensei and the Kazekage. Because of this, each of them passed the initial exams and the prelims with an unheard of ease. They had even broken all records for the shortest amount of time it took to acquire two scrolls in the Forest of Death, shocking everyone. When Temari fought against Tenten, she was able to effortless nullify all of her attacks and even mocked the entire match, telling Tenten exactly when the match would end. The match turned out exactly how Temari said it would, humiliating Tenten by catching her in her wind and making her land on her back on Temari’s fan. She then tried to toss her onto the scattered weapons, but Lee caught Tenten. The boy then tried to attack Temari for her disrespect, but he was easily blocked by the fan.
They were prevented from entering the Exams earlier so that they would be able to be in the perfect position at the time of the Sound/Sand invasion of Konoha. Temari and Kankuro were to ensure that Gaara was in position and in the right mind to release Shukaku onto Konoha, but since Sasuke injured Gaara, they had to keep him safe until his chakra regenerated. Sasuke pursued them, and she decided to buy Gaara and Kankuro time to escape by fighting Sasuke by herself. Her efforts, however, only managed to buy a short amount of time. Even though Sasuke was holding back during the fight, he defeated Temari with a unique combination of exploding tags and Kawarimi no Jutsu. When she later observes the fight between Gaara and Naruto, she is surprised that Naruto summons Gamabunta since she thought she was the only Genin at the Exams capable of a summons. Afterwards, she and Kankuro took Gaara back to Sunakagure, and they were allied with Konoha once more.
Temari has been sent on missions since she is rather good at them. She is sent on high ranking missions, but this isn't much for her since she has been on them many times before. She enjoys assassinations since she is able to kill the person. Temari now lives in Suna, and she keeps somewhat to herself, unless she wants her thought to be heard then she is straight forward.

Temari was sitting on the roof of a building that looked out onto the desert. She sighed as song ran through her head, which by way the was throbbing due to Kankuro’s goal of the day: Annoy Temari. Well one goal he had accomplished. She mouthed the words and sand quietly to herself the song she knew so well. One leg was pulled up to her chest the other hung off the edge of the building. Her fan lay at her side as she looked out upon the golden desert her fingers randomly playing with the fingerless gloves that she had on. The sun kept her warm, and the black dress kept the heat. She had taking the Suna head band from her forehead and she had it on her lap. She was semi contemplating wither or not to drop it off the edge of the building. She shook her head and sighed as she laid back arms behind her head as she looked up at the darkening sky. She had no cares in her now, not that she cared all that much about anything besides her family. Her teal eyes moved across the sky half of which was deep blue the other half being an orangey color. Her mouth still moved to the lyrics.
